India (DLN): National Insurance Company (NIC) invites applications for recruitment to the post of Administrative Officers Scale I. Candidates can apply only online from 20th Feb to 17th Mar 2012. There are total 345 posts (Specialist 145 vacancies and Generalist 200 vacancies). 1. Specialist Officers: 145 vacancies in following disciplines.
1. Engineering:
i. A1 – 40 Posts. Qualification required is Graduation in Automobile Engineering OR Graduation in Mechanical Engineering with PG Diploma of 1 Year in Automobile Engineering.
ii. A2 – 10 vacancies. Qualification required is Graduation in Engineering in any of these disciplines – (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, & Chemical)
2. Health: 30 vacancies
i. B 1 – Qualification required is Graduation in Medical Science (MBBS).
ii. B 2 – Qualification required is Graduation in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S).
iii. B 3 – Qualification required is Graduation in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S).
3. Finance: 25 vacancies. Qualification required is Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / M.Com / B.Com with MBA (Finance).
4. Actuarial: 5 vacancies. Qualification required is Graduation in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Science and Pass in minimum 3 papers of the exam conducted by Actuarial Society of India.
5. Legal: 20 vacancies. Qualification required is Graduation in Law.
6. Investigator: 15 vacancies. Qualification required is Graduation in any stream including Law with atleast 1 year experience in Investigational assignments with Central /State Police / CBI/ National Investigation Agency/ other Central/State Govt. Investigation organization.
7. Generalist: 200 vacancies. Qualification required is Graduation in any stream.
Age limit is 21-30 years.
Minimum passing marks at Graduation or Post Graduation level are 55% (for SC/ST candidates 50%) for all posts.
Competitive written examination will be held on 22nd April 2012 at 27 centers.
Application fee for SC/ ST / PWD candidates is Rs.75, for all male candidates other than SC/ST/PWD Rs.425 and for all female candidates other than SC/ST/PWD Rs.225. No fees for employees of National Insurance Company. Fee can be submitted in any branch of Indian Bank.
