Punjab (DLN): High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh requires Stenographers. Applications are invited by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh for Stenographers recruitment 2012. There are total 20 vacancies are available for Stenographers in the Pay Scale of Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4400. Selection will be through a competitive examination.

Application fee is Rs.250 (Rs.125/- for SC/ST/BC only). Fee should be submitted through DD in favor of “The Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh” and payable at Chandigarh.

Qualification required is degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Applicants should have proficiency in operation of computers.

Applicants will be required to take dictation @ speed of 100 w.p.m. in Eng Shorthand and transcribe the same on the computer @ 20 w.p.m. Age limit is 21-30 years.
