NTPC invites online application through the Special Recruitment drive for PWDs (Persons with Disabilities). There are the vacant positions for Operation & Maintenance (Mechanical), Operation & Maintenance (Electrical), Operation & Maintenance (C&I), Civil construction and Public Relations. Candidates can apply online from 27th Feb 2010 to 19th March 2010. The last date for the receipt of applications is 26th March 2010.

For the post of Operation & Maintenance (Mechanical) (8 posts), the qualification required is engineering in Mechanical/Production. [smartads]

For the post of Operation & Maintenance (Electrical) (5 posts), the qualification required is engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics.

For the post of Operation & Maintenance (C&I) (2 posts), the qualification required is graduate engineering in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electronics & Telecommunications/Electrical & Electronics/control & Instrumentation.

For the posts of Civil construction (2 posts), the educational qualification required is graduation in civil/construction.

For the posts of Public Relations (1 post), the qualification required is graduation or PG diploma in communication management/ public relations/mass communication/ Journalism.
