South Central Railway invites applications against Scouts & Guides Quota for the posts of commercial clerk or Technician-III (Group C). There are two vacant posts.
For the post of commercial clerk, the minimum educational qualification required is 10th with 50%. If any candidate has passed 12th then there is no percentage boundation in 10th class. For the post of Technician-III, the minimum qualification required is SSC+ITI courses. The age limit is 18 to 30 years.
And besides the above qualification in the scouts and guides quota following is also necessary: [smartads]
a) A President’s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge holder OR a Pre-HWB trained scout leader/ advanced trained Guide leader/Captain.
b) Should have been active member of Scout Organization at least three years in the recent past and continue to be active.
c) Should have been attended at least one event at National Level and/ or two events at State Level or should have good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/District Level.
Candidates have to pay fee Rs. 40 through IPO in favor of “FA&CAO, South Central Railway, Secundrabad. The last date for the submission of the application is 5th March 2010.
Candidates will be appointed on the basis of written exam and personal interview. The written exam will be held in Secundrabad, Hyderabad.
