The Counting of votes are under progress at the moment for Ellenabad bye-election to the Haryana state assembly.
Sources revealed that Abhay Singh Chautala who is the candidate of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) is ahead of his competitor Bharat Singh Beniwal, the candidate of Indian National congress.
Om Prakash Chautala, the younger son of INLD chief has 2985 votes in his favor. [smartads]
In the Chotila assembly constituency, Shiv Sena’s Shamajibhai Bhimajibhai Chauhan is defended by BJP candidate Khorani Bharatbhai Vasharambha. Vasharambha scored 20128 votes till now.
Meanwhile, Farhan Abu Asim Azmi, from Maharashtra Samajwadi is ahead of Shiv Sena candidate, Rupesh Laxman Mhatre by 3864 votes.
The elections were held on last Wednesday for these constituencies.
