State Bank of India (SBI) is looking to fill the 1717 vacant posts of PO (Probationary Officers) in its different branches. Candidates can apply online on the website www.sbi.co.in & www.statebankofindia.com. Candidates should have 60% marks in 12th or Diploma course after X class (for SC/ST/PWD 55%) & in Graduation 55% (for SC/ST/PWD 50%). The age limit is 21 to 30 years.
Candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 500/- & Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates can pay fee on any Branch of SBI. Fee can be submitted till 25th Jan 2010. Candidates should retained the receipt and bring in exam center. Only online applications will be accepted. Any other mode of application will not be accepted. The online registration can be done from Jan 1st to Jan 25th 2010. [smartads]
The SBI recruitment written test will be held on 7th March 2010. The SBI exam will be Objective and Descriptive combined. Descriptive paper will be checked of only those applicants who will get high rank in each of 4 objective paper. The overall passing mark is 40% for General and 35% for reserved candidates. The passing marks for descriptive paper will also be 40% for General & 35% for reserved categories. The challan form can be downloaded from its Website www.sbi.co.in

sir i have put mistakely wrong percentage(66 insted of 63) in sbi PO EXAM FORM. is any procedure to correct it. my candidature will remain safe or not?
