While presenting Railway Budget 2009-2010, it is decided to reduce the fare of Indian Railways Tatkal Booking. The fare of IRCTC Tatkal for IInd class has been set at the price of 10 percent of basic fare and for all other classes, 30 percent of basic fare.[smartads]
IRCTC Tatkal booking will also be launched in Shatabadi Express’s executive division, by alloting 10% of the seat available. It is five seats for each coach.
There will be an even repayment of 25 percent of total charges of the Tatkal ticket. In it tatkal charge is excluded i.e. approved on termination of IRCTC tatkal ticket.
IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) is the marketing department of Indian Railways. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have provided this advance facility of Tatkal Booking to passengers.
