November 10: In West Bengal By-polls election result the Trinamool Congress and Congress jointly got 5 of the ten seats in West Bengal where by-polls elections were held on 7th November.
They were in front of their Left competitors in 3 other areas, as per the news available from various calculating centers.
The Left Front was ahead in just Goalpokhar constituency. [smartads]
In Kalchini area in Jalpaiguri, the GJM supported Wilson Champamari (Independent) got the win from RSP, beating Binoy Bhushan Karket by more then 6,000 votes.
TC contenders got Alipore, Serampore, Bongaon & Rajganj areas, the final being got from the CPI(M), whereas Congress hold on to Sujapur seat.
CPI(M) was straggling behind Trinamool contender in the important Belgachia East seat by more then ten thousand votes after the 4th turn of counting.
