UP Police Recruitment 2009



The process of recruitment is started from October 24 in each district in Uttar Pradesh and will be continued for next 3 months. Male candidates will have to cover a distance of 10 kilometers in an hour and female aspirants will have to cover 5 km in 35 minutes. Race would be completed in a circle in a ground. Everyday, 200 candidates will have to given physical test. After that, merit list of successful aspirants will be made. The recruitment board has 3 government doctors, 3 deputy police superintendents and 3 sub-divisional magistrates. They will supervise the recruitment process. [smartads]

To remove irregularities in the recruitment of UPP (Uttar Pradesh Police) constables, the Government of UP has made up an exclusive strategy to make the fair recruitment.

According to police recruitment headquarters’ instructions, a micro chip will be set in heel of every candidate to record time taken by that candidate in the entire race to complete it. The height and weight will be measured by computerized gadget.
