IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) having the responsibility to look after services of catering in Railway. They want to know the views of people about the quality served in trains. IRCTC is inviting the travelers online to give their opinions on the quality of food served by railway ministry in trains.
IRCTC has given many channels for passengers to help them in post their feedback. Passengers can register their complaints on trains for improving services. According to IRCTC, it is beneficial to take correct assessment of its services of catering.
You can give your opinion on www.irctc.co.in, the IRCTC WEBSITE. You have to choose one of the two given options i.e. SATISFACTORY OR NON- SATISFACTORY.
Rakesh Tandon is the chairman of IRCTC. He disclosed that the contractor will be rewarded if passengers are found to be satisfied with provided catering services. The ministry is examining the catering technologies for keeping food fresh for in best manner. In Delhi, in few trains, “phase change material” is being introduced which is one among these technologies.

Tatkal ticket in railway is nothing but cheating to public.
One incident happened with my family on 13.04.10 in train no. 2336. Some person came in ac 3 tier and ask for ticket.
while e ticket was produced he asked for id proof and when driving license was shown they told it is not genuiene. they fined and chages heavy penalty. This is the facility given by railway dept. to people. This is just cheating to innocent passengers.
Tatkal ticket scheme was made for those passengers who are realy need ticket due to urgency & they are paying more then others . But in the name of i-card, checking officers of railway is cheating & HARRASING to public.
Its really very shameful matter in Indian Railway.
