On a cautious thought of the recommendations of the military Department of Government of National resources Territory of Delhi have resolute to set up a Selection Board to be recognized as “Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board” hereinafter called Board.
| 2. | Constitution of the Board : | |
| The Board will be an emotionally involved Office of the Services Department, Government of National Capital country of Delhi and will include of a Chairman, a Member (Ad-hoc) and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations to be chosen on such terms and circumstances as may be set by the Government from time to time. The Board will be provided such behind staff as may be careful necessary by the Government. | ||
| 3. | Functions : | |
| To create with, the Board will select candidates from Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (including Delhi Electric Supply Undertaking)and New Delhi Municipal committee. The Board will, among additional things, conduct examinations and hold interviews, whenever required in the selection procedure according to the relevant Recruitment Rules in agreement with Section 93-A of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act 1957 and Section 42 of the New Delhi civic Council Act 1994. | ||
| Board will take over staffing to Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in different departments of Government of National Capital country of Delhi (including Delhi Police) and its independent bodies in the authority of this Board, when support of Government of India is obtained. | ||
| 4. | Duties and Responsibilities : | |
| Chairman | ||
| The Chairman as organizational head of the Board will be in charge for :- | ||
| (i) | Ascertaining form the departments the number of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts for which recruitment is to be made from time to time. | |
| (ii) | attractive applications by means of advertisements. | |
| (iii) | Scrutinizing applications established in response to the advertisement. | |
| (iv) | collection of candidates either by spirited examinations or interviews of candidates or by both. | |
| (v) | obedience to the departments worried the names of the selected candidates. | |
| (vi) | Taking stepladder to ensure that in creation recommendations, the departments will be capable to discharge their obligations in admiration of the recruitments of the members of the listed Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other toward the back Classes. | |
| (vii) | Maintaining records of selection made by the Board. | |
| (viii) | Submitting an Annual Report of the activities of the Board to the Services Department. | |
| (ix) | Any other duty or duties, entrusted by the administration from time to time.
