UEFA Champions League comprises of 3 qualifying rounds, a play-off round, a group phase and four winner rounds.
Qualifying
In matches in the 3 qualifying rounds and the play-off phase, clubs play two matches alongside each other on a home and absent basis, with the club scoring the better collective of goals qualifying for the next surrounding. In the occasion of both teams scoring the similar number of goals, the team which scores extra goals gone qualifies.
Group stage
The ten winners in the play-off surrounding ties – five from the best-placed pathway and five from the champions pathway – join 22 automatic entrants in the 32-team group phase. The clubs are tear into eight groups of four teams, who play home and away next to each of their pool opponents between September and December to make a decision which two teams from each pool advance to the first make unconscious round. Knockout phase
