Recognized in 1973, Kumaun University boasts two open campuses with a additional 27 united colleges spread across the Kumaun area. The total area enclosed by the university thus distant is an imposing 150 acres. The wonderfully designed colleges mix together in completely with the nearby architecture and complete the mouthful of air taking scenery. In order to provide for the industrial, professional and vocational education, another campus is being built at Bhimtal.
